Requirements to Become a Delivery Rider in the UAE

Requirements vary according to the employer, delivery platform, emirate and type of vehicle. Most motorcycle delivery rider jobs require:

A valid UAE motorcycle driving licence
A legal UAE work permit or another approved work arrangement
A valid passport and residence documents
An Emirates ID when applicable

Before accepting an overseas offer, ask whether the company provides motorcycle licence training, accommodation, transport from the airport and the required safety equipment. Confirm whether any of these expenses will later be deducted from salary.

A visit or tourist visa does not give a person permission to work in the UAE. Candidates may attend interviews while visiting, but they should not start delivery work until the correct employment authorisation is issued.
