• License Validity: Your UAE Driving License must be active. If you have a license from your home country, you may need to undergo RTA road tests to convert it, depending on your nationality.
• Black Points: Employers will check your traffic file. Drivers with 0 black points and a clean accident history are given top priority.
• Special Permits: For certain roles (like School Bus Drivers or Heavy Machinery), you will need a special RTA permit and a medical fitness certificate alongside your standard license.

⚖️ Know Your Rights: UAE Labor Law for Drivers

Under the updated UAE Labor Law, full-time drivers are entitled to specific legal protections:

• Zero Recruitment Fees: It is strictly illegal under UAE law for recruitment agencies or employers to charge the candidate for their employment visa, Emirates ID, or basic medical tests.
